Dinner & Tribute to Pinehurst Gun Club and Annie Oakley
Oakley’s natural athletic talent was first evident in her uncanny ability to fill the family’s table with an abundant supply of game, particularly quail.  She also became the favored game provider to the local general store and hotels during her youth and kept the family coffers full in lean times. 

In keeping with the theme of honoring Annie Oakley, the weekend’s events will culminate on Saturday night with a  dinner reminiscent of menus created with historic perspective featuring wild game. The 4-course wild game dinner will feature enticing dishes.  The feast is sure to become an annual favorite.  


Thierry DeBailleul, Executive Chef at Pinehurst Resort.  Chef Thierry is a master at old world and classical French cooking and his credentials span the globe with stints at several Michelin-ranked and Mobil rated restaurants and hotels.  As a classically trained expert he will bring a touch of old world European cuisine to all of their dishes and the event.
